No, classical mythology sounds fun and all, but AGH I can just HEAR the fact that it's going to be a demanding bitch in the title. Same with the Theatre class. A really fun class, but damn, look at that title! How fucking pretentious can you get? God.

Perhaps some of you might wonder why bagpipes is all in caps.

BAGPIPES OMG. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW EXCITED I AM ABOUT THIS. NO. REALLY. BECAUSE I CAN LEARN BAGPIPES, WEAR A FUCKING KILT LIKE A BOSS, AND THEN I CAN EVEN PLAY LIKE, SUBWAY TO SALLY SONGS, AND SALTATIO MORTIS SONGS, AND IN EXTREMO SONGS.

this may sound a bit dumb, but I honestly applied to UCR, in part, because they had bagpipe classes. I figure I've got the lungs, I may as well use them.

So, not only was Geo(Jr's manager) being a jerk at him because he was JEALOUS, but apparently JR's dad and Bruce(Head guy at Arco B) are REALLY good friends. After JR called his dad the morning after I wrote my last journal entry telling him he was depressed and all.....-snerk-

His dad called Bruce. Bruce's first words were "You raised a FINE boy, he's a great worker." Then they talked a bit, and his dad said "So...what are your plans for my boy?"

Bruce wants to train JR over the next four months or so to be manager at one of the new stores he's opening. MANAGER. As in ABOVE Jose(assistant @ Arco A who he hates).

Jr's dad said "well if you want him here full time to train him, he's going to need at least 9.00/hr to pay for his house."

Bruce said "Done."

So it's come to my attention that I'm neglecting this journal. I know I've got school, but if people like syxstring can still post at least sometimes about his life, then there shouldn't be a reason for me to just ...not post anything.

I think I've gotten to the point where I feel like the stuff that happens in my day isn't important enough to be posted here, because (most of the time) I don't think you'd care to know that I carried a 10 foot roll of linoleum and helped my friend pick up her cats from getting neutered.(that's what i really did today). Or that you care to hear me whining about my homework being a bitch and my script getting stuck at a hard part.

I don't know, I suppose this is the point where I say that obviously I've still got self esteem issues and I don't think anyone gives a rat's ass about my pathetic ramblings or my boring shit about my classes.

Let me make this clear, I am not fishing for pity or comments like "aww, it's okay, we all love you~" because though that makes me feel all warm and fluffy on the inside, it's not what I need.

I need you to know that I made this journal in 2006. I started posting regularly and getting into places like communities for interests I shared. Time passed, I posted less because I felt like I had nothing of importance to say. I still commented on something when I felt it needed to be said or was appropriate.

I check my F-list every day. Sometimes I check it quite often during the day. I read the community entries and laugh at the things that are funny, show that I care in places that need it, and give positive praise where it's necessary. If i don't have anything to say that would actually add to the conversation or help the person out, i don't say it.

I was always under the impression that journals are supposed to be about important things, letting your feelings out on important problems or helping yourself come to conclusions about things. For ranting about something annoying that happened that day, or something that just really pisses you off, not for talking about the fact that you got gum on your shoe or that you tripped up the stairs and no one saw it.

That's why I got into Twitter. I've got a hard time remembering things I want to tell my online friends about at the end of the night(when I've been used to journaling, lawl, thanks boarding school). With Twitter, I can post something cool that happened WHEN IT HAPPENED. I don't have to go on and on for paragraphs about something that only takes a couple sentences to post about. And I could even send my day of twitter posts to livejournal! I could show all my friends what was going on in my day, the things I found important enough to talk about, and I didn't have to repeat myself or re-hash something I'd already posted!

But then I stopped normal posting on LJ almost completely. I lost friends because of it. I lost good friends, and I alienated people who think that twitter is stupid or, as a very good friend of mine said, like reading a billboard or a flyer about a friend instead of actually hearing about their day.

I've turned twitter-shipping off. I'm not going to have a post on this journal unless it's a REAL post about me and my day/week/whatever. I'll try to post SOMETHING every day, even if it's stupid shit that you probably don't care about.

All I know is that even though this is a personal journal, I have people who read it, people I care about almost like a little family. I don't want to bore people. I'd like for people to be able to read stuff about me that actually has some substance to it.
